Despite what one might think, Ukrainian books are incredibly numerous, varied, and unique. Dozens of writers over centuries of artistic creation have added to the richness of Ukrainian literature. Until now, however, very few Ukrainian books have been translated at all, even into English. One can find books by the most well known authors, but books by smaller writers, despite being just as masterful, forward thinking and creative fall too often by the wayside.
Now anyone can enjoy these wonderful literary creations in English - for the first time!

About the project
The main goal of this project is to translate as many quality historical novels, novellas and poems of Ukrainian literature into English. Currently we are finalising the release of our first book, a feminist novella from around 1900, written by Olha Kobylianska. In the near future, the selection will be increased, and the plan is to translate books from a multitude of genres, and authors. There certainly is no lack of literary works waiting to be translated, in addition to the fact that after English the plan is to translate the books into other languages as well.
